I love how Family Guy will dig up an old running gag and hit you with it without a warning. Like when Brian got back at Peter for the General Lee thing for example. Sometimes though I think they hold on that joke just a tad too long. The chicken fights seem to go on forever.

In the second chicken fight, I think the reference was the way the chicken "died" ... but I'm not really sure. I haven't seen Raiders in a while.
