Well I've played the beta for Resistance 2 and it fucking pwned.
Resitance 1 was amazing enough, and I dig WarHawk being a supurb online game. Time Crysis could be better but its really good and unique. MLB 08 The show is a beast with amazing graphics.
The upcoming Jack 4 will be amazing!!!!
And the one that takes the cake is the cinematic movie-like amazingness of Metal Gear Solid 4.

360 gets my vote and if you're wondering why anyone would want one I submit to you: Oblivion, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3 and GTA 4. Those five games alone are reason enough to get one. I do admit that a part of my heart belongs to the older systems(NES, SNES and Genesis in particular), but you can only play FF 6 or Phantasy Star 4 so many times before you have to move on.

I can't stand PC games because you always have to buy the newest graphics card to play one game.

I say the gamecube. I for one loved it and you could play all the zelda games on it as well as other beautifully fun games like Gladius and MarioParty5 and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Metroid Prime Echoes (the best one cause of multiplayer).

It was just SUCH A FUN EXPERIENCE.

N64 comes second, followed by a tie of PC/Wii

PS2. I love the original but it plays all the old games but has just as many good games. Also psp is a lot like it but is missing a few great games that shoul get ported.

PlayStation 3 is my favorite console, but I don't believe it has the best games. It simply hasn't had enough time to accumulate a great number of awesome titles. My vote is somewhere between the N64 and the PS2. I never actually owned an N64 but I remember playing one at my friends house and shitting myself with glee. I think that my vote has to go with PS2 due to the sheer number of games available and the good times I had with it. I think the total of games right now is 2500+ and still rising. Not that number of games makes a difference, but still.

So yeah, PS2 ftw I guess.

You have the whole library of the game boy advance games to play on the ds. the game boy advance had an ENORMOUS library of many great games and very little shovelware. Most of the games on GBA were great 2d games which included many remakes of most of the best games for the supernintendo.

Plus, there's plenty of fantastic DS games AND plenty of great N64 and Ps1 games that have been ported or sequeled on the DS.

With the DS you have an almost unlimited library of game masterpieces of all eras and genre's of gaming.

God that's a hard decision. I probably would go with any of the Nintendo Consoles, especially the SNES and N64. The Wii is awesome no doubt, but it's probably to recent to say if it has some of the "best" games yet (though games like Mario Kart Wii, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and many others would definitely make it pretty good. Not to mention that it has the Virtual Console).

Including all the super oldies such as Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Super Mario RPG, etc...

That makes the Nintendo Wii the best console AND the console with the best games...in my opinion anyway

hmm... that's a tricky one... If we're talkin' modern I would have to rank them as 360, Wii, and then PS3 as the PS3 is just the xbox with a bunch more NON-gaming features and all it's exclusive games suck (where as xbox exclusivafies all the best ones). The Wii has it's fun but so far it has like.. 3 good games...

If we're talking old school it's a tie between snes and n64... on one hand the snes has some of the greatest games of all time but beyond that magical bunch you mostly find lotsa, lotsa crap... (trust me I've looked, it's nothing but downhill)... Where as the n64 has many not quite as good, but very good none the less, games (and many that equal the snes) and I find that you can pick up just about any N64 game and have a blast. I guess my vote would have to go for the N64. For it's general quality of games that aren't sports (GAY)mes.
