I don't know, it's gonna be hard for it to replace The Incredibles on my top spot for Pixar movies. Nevertheless I must watch it. I can't think of a single Pixar movie I didn't like.

my mini review:

It was actually surprisingly good. The animation was smooth and the graphics were great for the most part. I particularly liked the graphics of earth with its high resolution details of all of the garbage. The fat people made me laugh seeing how they all lived their lives floating around talking to other people on their computers. I'm surprised some of the fat people didn't get ridiculous bed sores from sitting so long. There were a few (a lot of) plot holes, but I suppose I could forgive them seeing how beautiful the graphics were and involving the characters were. I did notice that the movie didn't have any sort of intricate scenes that would require any second look over. Take that as good or bad, it made the movie easy to watch without a need to watch it again to get everything. Though the movie wasn't complex, it had a lot of deeper meanings behind a lot of the events of the story. The most obvious being that people trash their planet. But it also points out that people are getting fat and lazy, that they are narrow minded and don't really notice the world around them. The movie also made the point that one dedicated individual could help pull everyone together and help save the human race from disaster.
Overall it was a 'cute' movie and I think mostly anyone could watch it and enjoy it. Everything from WALL-E's collection of strange items in his lockup to the malfunctioning massage machine attacking, everyone could find something that would make them laugh.

indeed, there were a good bit of plot holes. for example: wouldn't living in a sterile environment for seven centuries weaken the humans' immune systems immensely, causing them to get sick and die as soon as they set foot on earth? also, they're taught to be lazy and consume and not worry about anything, but when they get to earth they're willing and able to do physical labor? hmm.

I agree, I love WALL-E. And Pixar is the greatest. One of my friends is trying to convince me Dreamworks is better, that's just laughable.

Ditto here. This is definately Pixar's best film to date! The unfortunate thing about the it is that the resolution doesn't leave much open for a sequel. Maybe a prequel hopefully; that'd probably be interesting.

mainly I hate all both disney and pixar films, WALL-E is either one of em so it's something im never gonna see. It'd be pixar though wouldnt it? disney has a lotta 2d cartoons and fairy tales but when i saw the incredables that was the last straw
