Mushroom Chase Contest coming to a close

I'm trying not to make a new front page post every week like I've been doing recently, hehe.

As far as I know, the Mushroom Chase contest ended yesterday. I bet everyone who got tired of the entries is rejoicing right now. Winners haven't been decided yet, because there will be forum-wide voting at the VGDC Forums.

The point of the contest was to remake a short movie that my friend Pandamonium2 (AKA Pandamonium and Karanusha) made as one of his first movies. We were supposed to use the same storyline, only make it more exciting. We were supposed to use the same music, too. Apparently a lot of people didn't realize that when reviewing a few of the entries here on Newgrounds.

Huh, weird. Certain kinds of e-mail don't work for some reason. I used Yahoo, but I can't remember if the e-mail went to my Inbox or my Spam Folder. I don't know why this happens :(

i will not install mandatory zango just so it can rape my pc
my point is zango is a virus that is pure evil

The Zango stuff only appears on the main VGDC site, but the forums are on a different domain entirely. I always ignore that Zango stuff anyway.

I actually spent about twice as much time with my movie that Psycosis did.

It's HARD TO MAKE THE BEST ENTRY WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER ONES ARE GOING TO BE LIKE! MINE WAS THE FIRST! :(

but I hate how some people give it a low score because "of the music" or "it's the same thing over and over again". Sometimes I think people can't read at all! This pisses me off very much.

Actually secondstamp made a drawn-out joke entry before he made his sprite movie. I think it's an easter egg in the menu of his real entry now.
