Refreshingly stylish action.

I'm going to get my dislikes out of the way first:
The animation was a bit awkward at times, mostly in the segment with the crazy clown mode. The progression of the battle also didn't make a lot of sense, like when and how Tricky used his abilities. The music you selected fit well with the insanity of the movie, but less repetitive music would have fit even better, though I can look past this because I know how hard it is to find truly applicable music before a specific deadline.

Now the likes:
This has got to be one of the most imaginative action sequences I've seen in a pretty long time. The style, the animation, the angles, the effects, and many of the things Hank and Tricky did in their confrontation were all new and inviting, not to mention impressive. I also really liked the little extra things outside of the movie, like the invisible scene select and the quality buttons. The caption for the low quality button made me smile.

All things considered, you really did a fine job with this, and this is probably one of my favorite Madness Day entries for this year and all years prior.

Far and away the best episode in the series.

Sure, there may be less visual variety in this episode than any of the others, and maybe the idea of replying to various fan mail has been done before. But the writing in this one is pure gold.

The selected e-mails/fan art pieces and the way they were arranged kept all eleven minutes of this animation fresh and entertaining, and the way Mickey reacted and responded to each of them made this possibly the funniest movie I've seen on Newgrounds. I actually laughed out loud more times than I could count. Mickey's dark, abusive personality somehow makes for perfect humor, and his quotes are memorable enough to be used in everyday life... however that's probably not advised.

Earlier on in this series, I was kind of hoping you'd pull a Junior and have Mickey realize his own lifestyle and perhaps even change for the better because of it, and after eight episodes of nothing but dickishness, I was beginning to assume there wouldn't be any turning-point character development. Mickey's curious response to Logan's e-mail brought back my hope. Your sense of timing is inspiringly admirable in your scriptwriting, even outside of the comedy factor.

I have a feeling that wherever Wacky Game Jokez 4 Kidz is going to end up in its tenth and last episode, it won't disappoint, and I applaud you for the dedication and hilarity you've already poured into the series.

There aren't many movies with this much variety!

This is not only incredibly impressive, but highly entertaining to watch. Each part is so incredibly from the last. I feel privileged to have seen two thirds of all these animations in the making, with the wonderful music, animation, and thought processes.

I can't even pick a favorite part. There are so many great parts! However, I can say it was fun to discover that the shark with sunglasses expanded into Explosion Runner. Never would have guessed XD

Phenomenal work. I've already watched this three times.

History in the making.

I am truly glad I got to be a part of this freakin' awesome collab. Not only are all the parts great and quite different, but Goat-Man did a fine job with organizing everything and adding features.

My gripes are minor: occasionally you could see the outlines of the parts change a little bit like they weren't quite centered on the screen (I usually fix this by adding a slightly thick-lined border around the movie), the sounds in the menus clash together if you press a button too soon , and... you gave me a Mario sprite for an intro animation! It was a nice sprite, yes. But I'd have made an avatar animation if I had known lol

Once again, I'm grateful to have participated, and everyone did a seriously great job. 10/10

Sorry man, but I had the most trouble trying to think of what to do for your transitional animation. Not a lot to do based on "JonBro"
So instead I made you into one of the Mario bros!

Glad to have you on board! I've gotten several comments complimenting your part. I think it's easily the most insane piece of both parts of the series O_o

Clever title. Fits perfectly.

The only real flaw I can find in this movie is that its graphics and animation could be improved. The writing with the voice is truly great; sounds exactly like a shoddy game director commentary. I love the idea of game developers admitting all of their problems and thinking they're good ideas--the outtake buttons at the end did it for me. Honestly I found them even funnier than the rest of the movie.

"It wouldn't be an Activision game unless we deviated completely from what the first game did ... so you're going to see a four-player online co-op Nazi zombie mode in Limbo 2, and this is gonna be really exciting."

I didn't know what to expect from this episode.

Now I've seen it five or six times.

This whole series is sort of like a political cartoon with video game parodies being the subject, and I don't think the message has been more clear than in this episode. Often it seems there is so much ignorance in the movie-viewing public if a movie isn't all about video games, or if its humor isn't the usual "every moment is a punchline" mile-a-minute wackiness. Wacky Game Jokez 4 Kidz is a rare treasure, because it is not a bunch of wacky game jokes for kids.

The realism you capture in this show is astounding. Even though more than half of this movie has absolutely no animation, the voice acting and script shined through in those motionless minutes like never before. This might be a silly, completely fictional cartoon with all the characters voiced by the same person, but it feels so much like a genuine dispute between different people that it almost doesn't feel like there's a script involved at all.

And to top off all that vivid, sinister, hectic offscreen imagery, there were still several points in this episode that made me laugh out loud like the others.

I'm always looking forward to more of these.

I love this whole series. The writing is well thought-out and truly hilarious, the setting is unique, the characters are memorable, and the animation fits so well with the script. Mickey's laugh at the boss in this episode gets me every time.

Also, I think Eric is slowly becoming more like Mickey. He used to be nothing more than Mickey's punching bag, but now he and Mickey are practically rivals. In episodes 4 and beyond, more and more of Eric's lines have been dickish responses to Mickey's dickish comments. I'm not entirely sure if this gradual change in his personality is intended, but I hope it continues. The very subtle character development in this series is part of the reason I'm always eagerly anticipating future episodes.

Could be better, but the story is still told well.

The animation wasn't impressive. I like the doodle-drawing style of the art, but I feel like if it was cleaned up and the animation was both smoother and more consistent, it would help the feel of the Flash. The presentation also could have been improved; if pauses were used a little more carefully and more thought was put into the art to match the mood of the movie itself, the mood may have been enhanced.

But I still think that overall you did a fine job using grayscale and symbolism to tell a sweet, simple, innocent, nonviolent story of loss and love without any words at all. It didn't feel forced or totally unnatural, which is more than I can say about most other love stories I've seen.

I really can't understand all the hate for this.

It's not meant to be fast. It's not meant to be full of "silly jokez 'n' punz."

This movie is clearly meant to be a buildup of hatred and brutality between two people in mascot uniforms. That in itself is the real joke of the movie, and though it may be drawn out, it only gets better and more surprising throughout the video. The pace is realistic. There's no need for it to be any faster than it is. And I think the experience was enhanced by the shocked and crazed expressions of Mickey and Eric as the tables kept turning on their battle. Unfortunately I did not understand the There Will Be Blood reference that others got, simply because I haven't watched the movie, but I'm sure you pulled it off very well and I was impressed anyway.

Anyone who doesn't find entertainment in the WGJ4K series will probably never understand what it's really about.

omg

it's not expected
it's not explained
it's just short, well-animated, and hilarious
