This, to me, is much better than the second.
The second Pencilmation actually had a story, thus ending the reign of simple, funny, random doodles that we all sketch during lessons. I mean, during the middle of class, I probably would NOT doodle a picture of a stickfigure and a robot, then make a huge deal over it. This movie had it's own flair, with many different design elements used, as well as that sheer sense of developement and demolishment. Pencilmation 2, at the beginning, was quite clever. I must say, though, that this movie had some of the most clever little events, some of which were completely unexpected. This movie had that realistic doodling touch, rather than being something intense, sophisticated, and overall, time-consuming. This Pencilmation is far better than the other, with no story, more randomness, more realism.
