I should celebrate somehow!

I celebrated by submitting several crap games to the portal in one Flash!

I'm ashamed to admit the voice acting would be for Princess Peach in a Mario movie, but PM me if you think you could do a fine-quality voice befitting Peach, and I'll respond with the lines I plan to use. Her lines will have an overall tone of sadness and some mild hopefulness to give you an idea.
It's for an entry to a video game Flash contest that already ended because nobody bothered to finish their entries, but it was a unanimous vote with everyone in the contest that I should finish making my entry, and to finish it, I need like four or five lines for Peach.
If you do a good job I can promise you a spot near the top of the credits :)
[EDIT] I'm so great at timing things. This post is right above someone else requesting a female voice actor. Lol.

I haven't been online for a while. Or at least it seems like a while.
There's various reasons for this, such as trips and occasional limitations to computer access, but I think most of the reason is that I've been working hard recently on this great big game featuring a pig that wears pants. It's going to be a pixelated tile-based platformer game with an epic storyline (although I haven't exactly thought of what that storyline should be) with hopefully a similar feel to games like Cave Story, Paper Mario, and Conker's Bad Fur Day -- mostly Cave Story. I'm spriting, writing, and coding this game by myself, but I'm still deciding about whether I should make the music or not...
The screeny is incomplete, since I'll add more to it, but this just kinda gives an idea of what it will look like. This is the bar called the "Leaky Tavern." I don't know about you, but I personally really like the look of the bricks behind the wall.
Contrary to what it looks like, the pig is jumping, not flying. Although it might fly at some point.
Why I chose a pig to be the star of a game, I have no idea.
...Heh, I'm supposed to be spriting for a game that Skeik-Sprite is making. Oops.

EDIT: Sorry, the picture got bad quality in the upload. Here's a better version.

I'm trying not to make a new front page post every week like I've been doing recently, hehe.
As far as I know, the Mushroom Chase contest ended yesterday. I bet everyone who got tired of the entries is rejoicing right now. Winners haven't been decided yet, because there will be forum-wide voting at the VGDC Forums.
The point of the contest was to remake a short movie that my friend Pandamonium2 (AKA Pandamonium and Karanusha) made as one of his first movies. We were supposed to use the same storyline, only make it more exciting. We were supposed to use the same music, too. Apparently a lot of people didn't realize that when reviewing a few of the entries here on Newgrounds.
Here's the original movie that everyone had to remake:
Mushroom Chase by Pandamonium2
Here are the entries to the contest in the order they were entered:
The Great Mushroom Chase by JonBro
The 1-up Pursuit by Psycosis91
The Life-Shroom Sprint by secondstamp
The Great Star Hunt by mad-dave
Mushroom Mania by DiskG
Mario's 1UP Adventure by megaman51413
You ought to check out some of these entries. Unless you join the VGDC Forums yourself, you won't be able to vote, but it would be cool to hear what opinions everyone on Newgrounds has about the entries anyway.
BREAKING NEWS - I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE DEADLINE OF THE CONTEST HAS BEEN MOVED TO HALF A MONTH FROM NOW, RATHER THAN A WHOLE MONTH

Everyone should watch his entry right now.
