Riddle School's 10th anniversary

Posted by JonBro - May 25th, 2016

Ten years ago today, I posted Riddle School to Newgrounds, and I recently felt inspired to celebrate by making a game I thought for the longest time that I wouldn't make.  It feels good to upload something to Newgrounds again.

Play Riddle Transfer 2 here!

Congrats man! This must be a huge weight off your shoulders.
I am too tired right now, I'll give it a proper playthrough in the morning.

can i help

i postewd something to ur page and u didnt reply

Honestly I would much rather have a Riddle School 4 where Phil doesn't die. But Im thankful that you decided to continue the series after all of this and I am in no way disappointed.

>going to newgrounds like every day
>see Riddle Transfer 2 on front page

I literally feel like I've met a friend who's been dead for ages again just now. Feels just like yesterday I'd come here every day just to wait for Riddle Transfer 2 and/or SMBZ Ep. 9 to appear. I'm still here every day. It's finallly happening.

Thank you.

congrats, I loved that series when it was little

I accidentally voted 1 when I was trying to view this. Sorry.

1) OH BOY RIDDLE TRANSFER 2

2) Why does the picture link to http://www.newgrounds.com/projects/games/981560

3) This isn't as important, but if you're considering returning to NG, I think it would be worth letting you know it's possible to change your name. I mean, look at me! I ask Wade via PM and 10 minutes later I became my current username!

It was hard but i finally did it. i love this game. it really made the series go off with a bang. as hard as it was, a walkthrough woulda been nice but it was definitly interesting to find out most things by myself. gave it a sense of satisfaction (and random mouse clicks for the red faces puzzle)

Congrats and welcome back. Gotta respect a man that is able to reinvigorate something that was in hiatus for so long.

Would be cool to change your name to Jonochrome for the sake of consistency, also i never liked the name JonBro well cause it has Bro in it.

Thanks JonBro!Will they be Riddle Transfer 3 or is it the last riddle game!

It's been so long I'm not sure what to say, but I'll tell you what, I jumped out of my seat when I saw this!

I knew it HAHA!! Ages ago when you announced you weren't going to finish the series i felt sad just like everybody else. But i kept the hope because i knew a masterpiece like this should not be left. Cheers Jonochrome and a bag full of loves :)

Wow, glad to see you're still alive.

JonBros can you make a game that comes after riddle transfer 2?

It's technically possible. Right now, I doubt I'll do that

Sorry I didn't get post anything earlier, just got back from playing it.

I look at this, and I'm truly amazed. Not only that you did it in a month, but that it came out REALLY well. It doesn't seem rushed, some of the jokes are quite clever, some of the puzzles are actually quite difficult, and the story wrapped up in a superb fashion.

I've been playing riddle school almost straight when it came out, as it was one of the first things I found on newgrounds when I started using it. I went away for a while after I beat it, and when I came back, riddle school 2, and 3 had came out. I continued using newgrounds, and by the time you released 4 and 5, I had become a "fan" of you, and began to follow your work. Shortly after this, you released Riddle Transfer, and I was hooked on how intricate the story had become, but also amazed that it actually worked. I now look at this, and I'm elated on how everything wrapped up, how the games always stayed fun, how the jokes were always funny, and how likable the characters became.

I may be a few years younger than you, but I'm very proud of you. You started a series when you were 11 years old, and now you're a grown, capable-of-drinking man who's made an iconic series, and even though it started looking crude, and wasn't the most well put together thing, it always was fun, and you did an amazing job.

-Wesley Broadbent.

I'm thinking of another one which might be awesome. The main character could be Smiley and Phil's child or a Monkey Doll or sumthin'

Also I'm a fan of Riddle School since last week, so I would be expecting more. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I play this all the time! Before I eat breakfast I play this, before I eat lunch I play this and before I go to bed I play it again. I don't know why but I think I'm inlove of this game. <3 <3
